Includes cross-drilled brakes and a new lighted knob for easy mode selection. - Z51 Performance Package - Features more aggressive dampers and springs for enhanced control, larger stabilizer bars, higher grip Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, larger cross-drilled brakes and extra cooling. Includes a specific 6-speed manual transmission or a performance axle ratio on 6-speed paddle shift automatic models. - Z06 Performance Package - Standard on Z06 models. Adds engine oil, axle and transmission coolers, stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, specific shock absorbers, larger brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear cross-drilled rotors and specific tires.

Active Handling System Immediately applies any of the four brakes to help the driver maintain control if sensors detect a situation outside normal parameters.

4-wheel power-assisted disc brakes with ABS This four channel Antilock Braking System includes a steering sensor. Z06 receives high-performance 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers and cross-drilled rotors.

All-speed traction control Uses braking and engine torque reduction when excessive wheelspin is detected to maintain traction on slick surfaces. It may be turned off for competitive driving.

Speed-sensitive power steering Standard. The system is calibrated to provide specific steering feel for Corvette and is improved for 2008.

18" front and 19" rear wheels. - Coupe and Convertible – New standard 5-split spoke silver-painted aluminum.
