Tow/haul mode Provides better performance when pulling or hauling by changing the transmission’s shift pattern and helping reduce throttle pedal demands on the driver. Standard on all models.

Cargo capacities Regular-length cargo vans can carry 267.3 cu. ft. of cargo; extended length vans can carry 316.8 cu. ft. of cargo.

Fully boxed frame Express boasts the only full-length box frame in the full-size van segment. This sturdy design provides outstanding durability while contributing to excellent ride and handling capabilities.

Independent front suspension RWD Express feature an independent short/long arm (SLA), coil spring front suspension, while AWD Express sport an independent front torsion bar design.

Rear suspension Both RWD and AWD Express’s utilize a solid rear axle with semi-elliptic, two-stage multi-leaf springs and gas-charged shocks. The multi-leaf springs engage proportionally as the vehicle’s load weight increases to provide additional support without compromising ride quality.

StabiliTrak - Stability Control System with Proactive Roll Avoidance This segment exclusive feature monitors and compares driver steering input versus vehicle response and makes corrections when necessary to help the driver maintain control. Proactive Roll Avoidance further reduces the risk of rollover by managing braking forces and vehicle energy during certain lateral maneuvers. Standard on all 3500 regular and extended length passenger vans.

All-wheel drive (AWD) This full-time always on system provides good all-weather control by directing torque to the wheel(s) with the most traction. It can also transfer more power to the rear wheels on steep grades to help compensate for increased loads, and can compensate for different wheel speeds during cornering for improved handling. Available on 1500 models.

Automatic locking rear differential Another GM exclusive, the auto locker detects rear wheel slippage at low speeds and automatically transfers torque to the wheel with traction. Available on all models except 3500 extended length passenger vans.

Antilock Braking System (ABS) Standard 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and Dynamic Rear Proportioning (DRP) provide impressive stopping ability and control. The 3-channel ABS system is also quiet and efficient.

Power steering systems Rack-and-pinion steering is standard on 1500 models; recirculating ball is standard on 2500 and 3500 models.

Base audio system An AM/FM stereo with four speakers is standard on passenger vans and available on cargo vans. The system may be upgraded with an optional CD player and TheftLock.

Uplevel audio system Passenger van buyers may upgrade to an AM/FM stereo with Radio Data System (RDS), CD/cassette player, auto-tone control, speed-compensated volume, TheftLock and four speakers. A 6-disc, in-dash CD player is available as an additional option.

Express Access Package Includes three panels two on driver side, one on passenger side that allow access to cargo from outside the vehicle. Panels can be opened by remote key fob or from a manual release inside. Available on all regular length cargo vans.

Express Access Enhanced Lighting Package Adds three access panel lights and two interior roof-mounted lights in the cargo area.

Express Access Plus Package Includes both packages above, the Chrome Appearance Package, the Auxiliary Lighting Package, chrome center wheel caps and uplevel OSRV mirrors. OSRV mirror integrated turn signals are an available option.

Commercial Customer Bin Provides a handy all-purpose storage-bin system that can be adapted to a variety of commercial uses. Available on all cargo vans.
