Chevy Equinox receives new tech, fresh look for 2021

2021 Chevrolet Equinox updates

A new 2021 Chevrolet Equinox is in the works! The world got its first look at the new Equinox at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show last week. In fact, perhaps one of the SUV’s most noticeable updates is the new styling. The Equinox features a bolder look with refined, aerodynamic styling and new headlights. But this is just the start of the list of updates to the new Equinox.

In addition to the updated styling, the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox also receives new taillights, tailpipes and a new RS model. In terms of engines, the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox carries over both engine options from the 2020 model, including a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. A six- and a nine-speed automatic transmission is available on both models in addition to front- and all-wheel drive.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox RS?

The new 2021 Chevrolet Equinox RS ups the ante in terms of styling thanks to a variety of unique interior and exterior details. These include 19-inch wheels in Dark Android, LED headlamps, black Chevrolet badging, gloss black side rails, unique styling for the front of the SUV and a mesh grille in gloss black.

Inside the SUV’s cabin is jet black cloth seating with red interior stitching, chrome accents in Black ice and a black headliner. Leather-appointed upholstery is also available as an option.

2021 Chevrolet Equinox release date
