2021 Chevrolet Silverado Carhartt Special Edition release date
Fans of the Chevrolet and Carhartt brands have something very special to look forward too. Chevrolet announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week that a new Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition truck is coming to market. Not only did the world get its first look at the new truck at the SEMA Show thanks to the pre-production model on display, but Chevrolet also announced that the special edition model is set for a fall 2020 release date.
What is the 2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition?
Carhartt is an apparel company that has been making work clothes and outdoor wear in the United States since its founding in 1889. In fact, both Chevrolet and Carhartt are based in Detroit. The brands first collaborated in 2016 with the creation of the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Carhartt concept at the SEMA Show.
The two iconic brands are teaming up again and the product that has come out of that partnership is impressive. Here’s a first look at the new model:
The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition is based on the Silverado 2500 LTZ crew cab and comes with the Z71 Off-Road Package. In addition, the new model receives a variety of Carhartt-branded interior and exterior details.
Chevrolet’s new special edition model also receives tuned twin-tube Rancho shocks, Hill Descent Control, skid plates, tow hooks, all-terrain tires, a soft rollup tonneau cover with the Carhartt logo and leather-appointed seats with unique stitching. There are also a variety of distinct exterior elements, including black vent hood detailing, pinstriping in Carhartt gold and much more.
