When does the 2020 Buick Encore GX come out?

While the Encore GX shares its name with the smaller, pre-existing Encore, the two models are very different. In fact, the new 2019 Buick Encore GX will be built on a new platform and have a very distinct design. That said, when does this new model come out and when will it be available in Kennesaw, GA? What are the 2020 Buick Encore GX’s dimensions?

Overall, the new Encore GX is 3 inches longer than the current Encore model. Compared to the 2020 Buick Envision, the 2020 Buick Encore GX will be about a foot shorter in length. Inside the cabin, the 2020 Buick Encore GX has 5 additional cu.ft. of cargo space compared to the Encore. In terms of vehicle category, the Encore GX is a true subcompact SUV.

What features will the 2019 Buick Encore GX have?

The new SUV is expected to come with a variety of high-tech features, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an 8-inch touchscreen, a power passenger seat, heated front seats, a head-up display, a rear camera mirror, a moonroof and leather seating surfaces. Choose from three trims, including the Preferred, Select and Essence.

How powerful is the 2020 Buick Encore GX?

SUV shoppers can choose between two versions of an all-new three-cylinder engine, including a 137-hp and a turbocharged, 155-hp version. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. An optional 9-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive is also available.
