    Red 2018 Chevy Corvette

The Corvette made its debut on the world stage on January 17, 1953, at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York as a kickoff to the GM Motorama that year. It was initially shown as a dream car. In June of that same year, production began on the 1953 Corvette in Flint, Michigan and a dynasty began.
History is a good indicator of future performance. With more than 65 years under its belt, the 2018 Chevy Corvette is going places (and it’s doing it at impressive speeds).

Now in its seventh generation, the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette is available in four configurations, so you can find what moves you.

  • Z06

    2018 Chevy Corvette Z06

Like a lion to the jungle, the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is the king of the highway. Z06 comes with a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine and puts out a whopping 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 2.95 seconds. The world of performance sports cars didn’t see this one coming.

The Z06 was developed in tandem with the C7.R race car and, as such, shares many of the same features as its racing counterpart. Based on the Stingray, but with some fancy and fast upgrades, the Z06 was engineered as a speedster. It sports a carbon-fiber roof and hood, titanium intake valves, composite floor panels, and a hydroformed aluminum frame.

All that power requires a sophisticated control system. Z06 offers standard 14.6”/14.4” two-piece steel rotors for stellar brake control, as well as available 15.5”/15.3” Brembo® carbon ceramic rotors for even shorter stops. The Z06 also comes with a choice of standard Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport ZP summer-only tires or track-proven Michelin® Pilot® Sport Cup 2 summer-only tires (included with the Z07 Performance Package upgrade).

The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has a starting MSRP of $79,495.

  • Grand Sport

    2018 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport

The Grand Sport was originally designed to dominate the racetrack in 1963. It was crafted from lightweight materials and its 6.2L 377 CID small block V8 engine packed a powerful punch.

Drawing on its racing roots, the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is an aerodynamic powerhouse. Grand Sport’s sophisticated lightweight architecture and carbon-fiber components contribute to its speed and handling. There’s no concealing the fact that this head-turner is a Corvette Grand Sport with its distinctive mesh grille and badged front fender—not that you’d want to.

Grand Sport comes standard with a 7-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match. It is also available with an 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. Both beautifully complement the power of its legendary LT1 V8 engine. This baby puts out an impressive 460 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds.

In celebration of 65 years of Corvette, the 2018 Grand Sport is getting decked out. A limited run of 650 units and an available upgrade on the Grand Sport 3LT, is the Carbon 65 option, which coats the car in a new Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic body color and features carbon-fiber components, including the spoiler. It also comes with Jet Black Leather Sport seats with suede microfiber inserts and blue stitching. Also available as an upgrade for this model is the Grand Sport Heritage Package, which pays homage to the original model with hash mark fender graphics and available center stripe in six colors, and interior touches like brushed-aluminum trim.

The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport has a starting MSRP of $65,495.

  • Stingray

    2018 Chevy Corvette Stingray

The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is considered the base model, with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $55,495—a small price to pay for a precision sports car.

Stingray is a work of art, both visually and mechanically. Available in 10 distinct colors that complement the vehicle’s aerodynamic form, the 2018 Corvette Stingray is a knockout. Its exterior design is simultaneously functional and artistic; the beautiful craftsmanship does not detract from the performance of the vehicle. And, because the Stingray was originally designed as a convertible model, performance isn’t compromised when the fully electronic top is lowered.

Designed with driver in mind, the Stingray’s cockpit features premium materials, intuitive instruments, and a flat-bottom steering wheel for an enhanced and refined driving experience.

The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray boasts a 6.2L V8 engine that delivers up to 460 horsepower. Combined with a choice of 7-speed manual or 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission and a 0-60mph acceleration of 3.7 seconds, the Stingray is sure to leave you breathless behind the wheel.
