The turbocharged 4 puts out 228 horsepower and 258 foot-pounds of torque, making it as capable as you want on and off-road. The motor includes start / stop technology that saves gas by shutting down the engine when the car comes to a stop. This accounts for its 29 MPG rating on the highway, which is quite good for a car of this size. 
  •  3.6L V6. Ready to unleash the beast? This optional motor can oblige. It produces 308 horsepower and 270 foot-pounds of torque, while maintaining 27 MPG on the freeway. It also incorporates start / stop technology and makes use of dual overhead cam design. The motor increases the towing power to 4,500 pounds, which is plenty for dragging that boat to the lake – or getting your tools to the job site.

Both motors are paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The version matched to the turbo has overdrive and driver shift control. The same is true for the version matched to the V6. However, should you choose to go with AWD, there is an available twin-clutch system that intelligently delivers torque to whatever wheel needs it most.
