Powertrain Options

Standard on the 2024 Encore GX is a 1.2L turbocharged engine that generates 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, customers can opt for a 1.3L turbocharged engine that produces 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. By utilizing a turbocharger, each engine can quickly achieve torque peak and sustain it over a wider RPM range compared to a naturally aspirated engine, providing a more exhilarating and responsive driving experience for customers. AWD is a welcome option, as well.

Comfort and Safety Come First in the Encore GX 

Included as standard on the 2024 Encore GX is the Buick Driver Confidence package, which comprises six active safety and driver assistance technologies, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and IntelliBeam auto high-beams, among others. 

For even more safety and tech features, customers can opt for additional available packages, such as Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Rear Camera Mirror.

Pricing and Release Dates for the 2024 Buick Encore GX 

Production of the 2024 Encore GX commences next month, and customers can expect it to be available for purchase this spring. Starting at just $26,895, the Encore GX Preferred trim is the most affordable option, followed by the Sport Touring at $28,0959and the Avenir at $33,195. Starting from May 2023, customers can configure and order their new Encore GX on Buick.com.
