Silverado ZR2 models will feature a black hood insert, a signature grille with integrated LED lighting, ZR2 exterior badges, 18-inch alloy wheels with 33-inch MT Off-Road tires and an exclusive interior design with Jet Black and Graystone leather interior and dark dashboard trim.
A flagship entry in the Chevy Silverado lineup, the Chevy Silverado ZR2 will feature a factory lift kit and a revamped design built for the trail. Chevy Silverado ZR2 models are powered by a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 engine that makes 460 pound-feet of torque with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Armed with this potent combination, the Silverado ZR2 will tow up to 8,900 pounds of cargo with a maximum payload of 1,440 pounds.
Highlights of the 2022 Chevy Silverado ZR2 are headlined by a trail-rated suspension with Multimatic 40mm DSSV spool-valve dampers that will adapt the suspension to the terrain for a calm, collected ride. Front and rear e-lockers (electronic locking differentials) are employed to upgrade traction on treacherous trails. Terrain Mode is an added feature that allows drivers to set a speed on the trail and focus on steering and braking.
